ASSET BACKED TOKENS: HOW TO STRUCTURE A SECURITY TOKEN OFFERING
These tokens come with a variety of financial rights; dividends, equity, profit share rights, buy back rights, and/or voting rights. As such, tokenized securities are fast becoming a key area in financial and ownership models. With this model, any fund (hedge fund, private equity, venture capital, etc.) can offer liquidity. Also, any asset can comfortably offer partial ownership, full ownership or revenue shares. A security token issuance platform will be used to demonstrate how to structure the investment framework for applying blockchain technology to the process of tokenization.

REGULATORY FRAMEWORKS
Undeniably technology’s evolution pace is light years ahead of regulatory frameworks. The regulation of the token economy is one of the most conflictive tasks. The Masterclass will give a global view of regulation, how different countries approach the issue and in what ways investors are protected against bad practices.  Crypto draws upon several existing areas of law. Obviously, it applies to securities law, the question marks around defining what an investment is and what is not an investment. Additional issues that arise are centered around soliciting outside investors, private rounds, how to handle it, and where to register the offering. Learn about banking regulatory structures like anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC).
